What would I choose?
If I could choose an instant for you to see yourself through my eyes, what moment would I choose?
Would it be the moment when someone compliments your son and you say “He’s alright.”?
Or would it be the way that you laugh when I say something stupid?
Would it be the moment that you look at me right before you kiss off my 24hr lipstick? (You are the only one to have accomplished this)
Or would it be the moment that you see me and smile after a long time apart?
These are just four of my very favorite moments that make me realize how incredibly deeply I love you. With each of these moments, there are so many others that I cherish. Moments that I wish you could see and feel how much they impact me. Moments that I don’t ever ever want to lose.
I had no idea how much I needed you until you came along and filled that void.
I want you to feel how special it feels to have someone take your side just because it is your side.
I want you to know how amazing it feels to have someone say your name, knowing you are doing everything right in that moment.
I want you to know that I want to make you feel as special and desired as you make me feel. I am a lucky girl.
